Los Angeles Magazine's February 2018 Issue Spotlights the Great LA Walk

Thanks to Los Angeles magazine editor Matthew Segal for featuring the Great Los Angeles Walk in the February 2018 issue. LA mag highlighted walking in L.A. — in particular, 20 great walks, in this edition — so, of course, it made sense to include the GLAW! Read it here or pick up an issue!

Highlights below:

To truly know the city, you have to walk it. That’s the inspiration behind the Great Los Angeles Walk. Held the Saturday before Thanksgiving, the 11-year-old daylong saunter takes 300-plus Angelenos along different routes from downtown to the Pacific. “There’s so much—down to artwork, murals, people—you never notice when you’re driving,” says founder Michael Schneider, who’s also the executive editor of IndieWire and runs the blog Franklin Avenue.

I picked Wilshire Corridor, the Byzantine/Latino Quarter of Pico, and West Adams. Keep your eyes peeled later this year (around September) as we reveal the 2018 Great Los Angeles Walk route!
