Unlike past Walks, this year we're going to take a bit of a zig zag in the beginning in order to take in and really appreciate the homes and architecture of West Adams. This is a rare opportunity to see the sights up close!

hmmm... if we do the "alternate" part 1 (i.e., thru USC and the coliseum) plus part 2, we'd have walked over 18 miles. not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's much more than the 14 originally planned. and even more than the "13 mile urban hike" you mentioned in the baja cantina post...
